I'm Back!!!!

We had a great time in San Antonio. It's always so nice to get away for a few days...much needed! :D It's been a busy week though, trying to get everything ready for Christmas and I still have so much I want to do. I still have NOT finished all my shopping and I really want to get in the kitchen and bake some goodies!!! :D Plus work has been really busy...I'm taking my vacation the week after Christmas so I've been super busy trying to get everything done before I leave...it's crazy!!! LOL!!! :D Well enough about me...it's time to get to what you really came for! Today is Prettie Thursday here on my blog and boy do I have a cutie for you.

I made this card for the last Stampin in your Jammies Party over at Paper Pretties!!! One of the challenges was to make a card or project for a child...so I made this card for my niece. Isn't Snowflake the cutest?!?! I paper pieced his hat with some of my Aspen paper and outlined the snow with my copic marker. Paper Pretties just released this stamps set in rubbah so head on over there and check it out...It's called Snowflake Kisses. Happy Anniversary!!!

Hey there! I can't tell you how happy I am that today is FRIDAY!!! :D I don't have a card to share with you today...so I hope that's OK! Today is a very special day...it's my 10yr. Anniversary with the most amazing man ever!!! I hope he doesn't kill me when he reads this...LOL!!! He'll probably tell me to take the picture down too...he's silly like that! ;D I can't believe 10yrs. have come and gone and I can't wait to see what the next 10 yrs. will bring!!! :D He's such a great husband and he's always supportive in anything I want to do...I mean what more could a girl ask for?!?! :D This afternoon we are heading to San Antonio for a weekend getaway! :D I can't wait...I just love San Antonio during the holidays because of all the lights on the river...so festive!!! :D So I won't get back to posting till Monday. Simply Special Prettie Thursday

Hey there, Happy Thursday!!! :D Wow, what an exciting evening we had yesterday here in Houston...it actually snowed!!!! :D I know most of you out there deal with snow all the time during the winter, but the last time it snowed here was 4yrs. ago on Christmas Eve!!! That was the first time that I had ever been around snow so it was a pretty memorable experience.

Well let's get on with what you really came here for today...my card! :D This card is for the Pretties Weekly Challenge #30. The challenges used to be on Thursdays, but now they have moved the challenges to Sunday...you can read all about it here!!! For this challenge we were to use the stamps sets called Simply Special AND/ OR One of Those Days! We were to also use this sketch that the fabulous Danielle came up with!!! I really liked how my card came out...even though it was giving me a fit last night. BellaVersary Bash Challenges Continued

Happy Monday!!! Sorry I didn't get to post last night, I was working on the BellaVersary Challenge Cards! :D This first card is for the sketch challenge that Shannan issued. This was a fantastic sketch and once I figured out what Bella to use it was easy as pie! :D I love Cupcakeabella...she runs a close second next to Lattebella. I decided to use for the first time some Perfect Day dp from CTMH. I don't have the full paper pack, so I just used the little 6x6 sample sheets that I had. At first I was unsure if I even liked the paper, but after using it I think I might just get some!!! LOL!!! :D

My next card is for the theme challenge that Hope issued. The challenge was to make a card using the theme of twos! So I chose this Bella because she is riding a bike with (2) wheels. I used (2) flowers, (2) sets of Black brads, (2) sheets of October Afternoon dp, my sentiment has (2) words and I put my card together with layers of (2). I also used Taylor's sketch for the challenge! :D

BellaVersary Signature Bella Color Challenge

So last night was the Bella Bash on the SCS forum. I visited for a little bit and checked out the challenges this morning! I love these colors together...so very pretty! :D I decided to use Lattebella because she is my favorite and I think she looks great in these colors..hehehe!!! :D Well I'm off to a Christmas party tonight, but I'll be back with the other challenges tomorrow, k! :D Hope you all have a great evening! :D

Look Out World!!!

Happy Friday everyone! :D I'm so glad the weekend is here, it's gonna be a busy one! I'm almost done with ALL my Christmas shopping so I hope to get some more done this weekend, and then we are going to a Christmas party on Saturday. I know it's kinda early for parties right now, but it' was the only weekend that everyone was able to attend...it shall be FUN!!!! :D

For my card today, I knew I wanted to use Jen's SFYTT. She has a circle where I put my square image, but I'm thinking this will still work. I had colored Cooper a few nights ago and knew that I wanted to use my Star Struck paper with him. Isn't he adorable?!?!?! And as I sat in bed last night watching TV I decided to get up and finish this card!!! It came together pretty quickly since I was already using Jen's great sketch! :D

Prettie Thursday!!!

Hey there! I'm back today with another Prettie creation! I just love this Angel Wings Sophia and couldn't wait to get her inky!!! :D Monday was the Stampin in your Jammies Party over at the Paper Pretties forum. We had some much fun and Charmaine issued us some fabulous challenges!!! One of the challenges was a color challenge and you were to use pink and blue on your card. So here is what I came up with! :D

I chose the colors Crystal Blue, Baby Pink & White Daisy. I stamped Sophia in Brilliance Black Graphite Ink onto White Daisy CS and colored her with my copics! :D I also outlined her wings with my Clear Copic Spica Glitter pen. It's hard to tell in the pic, but looks so shimmery IRL! :D Don't ya just love her?!?!?! :D Well that's it for me today, hope you all have a fabulous day!!! :D It's sooo cold here today (BRRR!!!). Marjorie's Color Challenge #41

Wow, it's almost been a week since my last post...Yikes! :D Sorry everyone for the lack of posting, just trying to get things situated on the home front. I had a very relaxing Thanksgiving and I was able to get my Christmas tree up and all my decorations as well...so relieved!!! We did do some shopping on Black Friday and Saturday. We didn't get up early and we still were able to get everything we wanted...how cool is that! :D

Marjorie chose the colors Twilight, Crystal Blue, Sorbet & Creme Brulee, what an awesome color combo! :D I have ALOT o f birthday's coming up in the next few months so I'm getting a head start on the cards! :D Wanna know something crazy...I hand stitch this card!!! I really love the look of it, so I'm thinking about asking for a sewing machine for Christmas. I know it would be ten times easier if I had one.
