Happy Birthday Changito...

So do you like my little Changitos?!?!?! I was at Hobby Lobby this weekend and had a 40% of coupon and decided that I needed it, so I got it! I had gone earlier in the week and was gonna get it, but put it back. And I got really scared when I went back Saturday because I couldn't find it at first and was kicking myself for putting it back. But after much searching through the wooden stamps section I found it...WHEW!!! :D I think they are super cute and I just love that big heart balloon they are holding...oh so cute!!! :D

This card is pretty big and I'm not even sure about the dimensions, but I love it!!! I used my new My Minds Eye paper called Wild Asparagus that I got earlier in the week, I just love the polka dots and plaid together! I stamped my image with Brilliance Graphite Black Ink and colored it using my copics. I added some liquid glass to my balloon because I wanted some shine too it, it looks great in real life. Another pretty simple layout and I added some brads and ribbon for embellishment. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a great Monday and stayed tuned for Marjorie's Color Challenge later!!! :D

Stamps: Changitos (Stampendous) & From Me to You (CTMH) Paper: My Minds Eye Wild Asparagus & Hollyhock & White Daisy CS (CTMH) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black & Copics Accents: White Daisy Bigger Brads & Liquid Glass (CTMH), Ribbon (American Crafts) & 3-D Foam Squares

Marjorie's Color Challenge #24...

Hi there! Hope you all are having a great weekend!!! So right after church today we went and dropped off our nieces and nephew. Boy, they wore us out!!! {LOL!!!} We came home and took a much needed nap!!! Now I am revived and feeling better so I decided to tackle Marjorie's Color Challenge. For this color challenge Marjorie chose the color Citrus Leaf, Ocean, Orange and Sunny Yellow is optional. What FUN I had with this color challenge. These colors are right up my ally and I wanted to do something cute with them. So I decided to pull out my Paradise stamp set. I love the row of drinks stamp and I thought it would go with these colors perfectly, I mean who doesn't like fruity drinks?!?!?! This card is a pretty simple layout but I love it and I also love that I used all CTMH products...yeah for me!!! :D I added some liquid glass to the drinks and used my Clear Copic Spica Glitter pen for some sparkle on the umbrella and little cherry and orange. It's so sparkly in real life!!! :D Well I hope everyone has a fabulous Monday, I'm just glad it's gonna be a three day weekend!!! YEAH!!! :D Thanks for stopping by!!! :D

Stamps: Paradise (CTMH) Paper: Citrus Leaf, Ocean, Orange, Sunny Yellow & White Daisy CS (CTMH) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black & Citrus Leaf & CTMH Markers Accents: CB Swiss Dots, White Daisy Bigger Brads & Liquid Glass (CTMH) and 3-D Foam Squares

A Fabulous RAK...

Hey there! Wow, it has been one busy, busy weekend!!! I really don't know how I am keeping my eyes open to post this, but I really wanted to make this post this today!!! We took my nieces and nephew to the movies this morning to watch WALL E and it was a super cute movie...they LOVED it! Then we took them swimming at my dads and house and had dinner with my dad! They had so much fun swimming and I thought it would wear them out, but I was wrong! It totally wore me out and I know I will crash before them...LOL!!! :D

Well last night when I went to check my mailbox I had a key in there that they leave when a package is too big to fit in your mailbox. We live in an apt. so our mailbox is pretty small. Anywho, so I asked my husband if he was expecting anything and he said no. So when I opened it up I saw that it was for me and that it was from Carolyn Christie aka Kariberry!!! :D And if you haven't checked out her blog you should, she does amazing work!!! :D I got inside and opened it up and was absolutely floored!!! She sent me a pack of Cocoa Cafe papers that are retired from CTMH. When I became a consultant they were already retired so I never got to purchase it. But I kept seeing it around and have always loved it. Well she sent me some and I just couldn't believe it, I was over the moon!!!! :D She also sent me tons of images like Bellas, Riley's and I'm sorry but I don't know the names of the others she sent but they are a hoot! :D There are so many that I couldn't get a pick of them all. I know that took a lot of time to do so i really appreciate it!!! She sent me Bellas that I don't have and I can't wait to color the images in, I am super excited!!! In my package I also received some primas and baubles and a super cute card and I also got this sandal that I could write little notes on...so super cute!!! :D I can't thank you enough Kari, I am just so grateful for the generosity you have shown me!!!! Well thanks for stopping by everyone!!! I hadn't had much time to create, plus I have been so tired. I hope to get some things done after church tomorrow so stay tuned!!! :D

Bella Color Challenge #34...

TGIF!!! :D I have quite a bit of work to catch up on at work today, but right after work I am going to pick up my nieces and nephew so they can come and stay with us for a couple of days!!! :D So needless to say we have a busy weekend planned. Since we don't have any kids yet, this is great practice! They are pretty active kids and keep us on our toes, it's gonna be FUN! :D

Well enough chitter chatter, let's get to the card!!! Sparkle chose the colors Topiary Green, Sunflower & Goldrush, so go check it out in the Bella Forum if you want to play!!! :D OK, so who loves square cards?!?!?! I do, I do!!! :D I just can't get enough of square cards and that seems to be all I ever do now. I figure why change something when you got a good thing going, eh?!?!? OK, so this card is a 5.25" card using Topiary TCS as my base. I layered a 2.75" piece of White Daisy CS on top of it that I ran through my CB using the Spots & Dots folder. My image is Lattebella, I just love her and I love coffee so it was a perfect fit!!! :D I colored her using some copic markers, my blender pen and CTMH Goldrush Ink and a CTMH marker. I also added some liquid glass to her coffee mug and used my Clear Copic Spica Glitter pen to add some sparkle to the flower in her hair!!! :D Then I just layered her on some Goldrush TCS and then again on some Sunflower TCS and pop dotted her onto my base. Added some flowers and a sentiment and called it done! :D I was totally supposed to finish working on the last two bella challenges last night, but got side tracked. I just hope I have enough time to come home and finish them because they are due by 8pm tonight...YIKES!!!! Oh well, if I don't make it I will still complete them, because I just can't get enough of the Bellas right now!!! :D Thanks for stopping by today, hope you have a great Friday!!! :D

Stamps: Lattebella (Stamping Bella) & Say It in Style (CTMH) Paper: Topiary, Sunflower, Goldrush & White Daisy CS (CTMH) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Copic Markers, CTMH Markers & Goldrush Ink & Blender Pen (CTMH) Accents: Green Felt Flower (Creative Cafe), Yellow Flower (Kaiser), White Daisy Bigger Brad & Liquid Glass (CTMH), Clear Copic Spica Glitter Pen & CB Spots & Dots

Bella Challenge SSBC1 - Going Traditional...

Hey there! Well I went to the dentist today as painful as it was. It went pretty well, but I do have to go back to get two cavities filled. I was hoping for none, but what are you gonna do?!??! Anywho, I am so excited to show you this card. Right now I am on Bella overload....LOL!!! :D I need to get 3 cards done for the Bella challenges that are going on right now for the bridal shower they had for Sparkle the other night, they are due tomorrow...YIKES!!! Well I have one down and two more to go!!! :D Go check it out in the Bella forum if ya' want to play...it's so much fun!!! :D So this challenge was called Going Traditional. You had to use Something Borrowed, Something Blue, Something Old, & Something New. This is Twinkle Fairy and I think she is too cute!!! :D You can't tell in the pic, but I outlined her wings and the lines on her fairy dress with my Clear Copic Spica Glitter pen for some sparkle!!! I am super happy with how my card turned out, hope you like it too!!!!! :D Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow for my other two cards!!! :D

  • Something Borrowed: The image was borrowed
  • Something Blue: Well I didn't mean to make the whole card blue, but that's what happened. The cardstock base is blue and I used different shades of blue throughout the whole card.
  • Something Old: My something old was the dark blue Primas I have had for over a year!
  • Something New: My something new is the pretty dp paper by Basic Grey called Cupcake!!! :D

Bella Color Challenge #33...

Hi there! I hope everyone had a great day today! I was ready to come home from work and relax. My house is clean, clothes are washed and my husband cooked dinner (he ordered pizza...LOL!!!) and it was great and at least I didn't have to think about cooking!!! :D Well I was finally able to complete Bella Color Challenge #33. Sparkle chose the colors Orange, Watermelon & Amethyst, and I absolutely just love these colors together!!! :D I pulled out Eloise Greengrass for this one. She's my favorite right now, I just love her fairy outfit and wings. I colored her with my pencils and markers and I added crystal stickles to her wings to make them nice & sparkley, aren't they cute?!?!? :D After I colored her I layered her on a piece of Amethyst CS and put her to the side. My card base is really simple. I cut a 5" x 10" piece of Orange CS and folded it in half. I then cut a 2.5" piece of Watermelon CS and ran it through my Cuttlebug using the Textile Texture folder and taped it to my base. I added some White Organdy ribbon to the Watermelon CS and then placed my image on top of that. I used Prima flowers and dew drops for a little embellishment and called it done! I'm not sure that I am 100% happy with this card, maybe it's the picture I took or maybe I am just tired. I may have to take another picture during the day tomorrow. Anywho, I hope you have a great evening and I'll be back tomorrow with something for Marjorie's color challenge! :D Thanks for stopping by!!! :D

Stamps: Eloise Greengrass & Thank You Fairy Much (Stampingbella) Paper: Amethyst, Watermelon, Orange & White Daisy CS (CTMH) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black Ink, Coloring Pencils, Copic Marker Accents: Primas, Dew Drops, White Organdy Ribbon, 3-D Foam Squares & CB Textile Texture Folder

A Little Thank You...

Hey there! It's Sunday evening and I am super exhausted and ready for bed. I tried working on a few challenges today, but just didn't like anything I came up with, I guess I'm just not feeling it today. But before I turn in, I wanted to post these little thank you cards I made for my upline last night. I made 30 cards and did 3 different styles. They are pretty simple, but that's what she wanted and I used all CTMH products to make them. All the cards are 3.5" x 7" folded in half.

Here is the first one. I used Boom-Di-Ada Creative Basics paper to create this card and Hollyhock Ric Rac. I layered my striped piece of paper on top of some Buttercup CS and taped it to my base. I used the Say It in Style stamp set for my sentiment using Olive ink and I also sponged it with Hollyhock ink. Once I was done with that I layered the sentiment on some Buttercup CS and then used my piercer to pierce a line under the sentiment. I then pop dotted the sentiment onto my card.

Stamps: Say It In Style (CTMH) Paper: Boom-Di-Ada Creative Basics, Buttercup & White Daisy CS (CTMH) Ink: Olive & Hollyhock (CTMH) Accents: Hollyhock Ric Rac & 3-D Foam Squares (CTMH), Mat Pack

For the second card I went with the Paper Garden B&T papers. I just used both papers, striped and floral and then used some Blush Polk-a-dot ribbon to give it a little embellishment. I used the Say It in Style stamp set for the sentiment.

Stamps: Say It In Style (CTMH) Paper: Paper Garden B&T & White Daisy CS (CTMH) Ink: Brilliance Black Graphite Ink Accents: Blush Polk-a-dot Ribbon (CTMH)

And last but not least here is the last card that I created! It is super simple. I added a piece of Hollyhock CS to my White Daisy CS. Then I stamped the flower and stems using the With Love stamp set in Sweet Leaf & Breeze. Next my sentiment comes from the Say It in Style stamp set and I stamped it in Chocolate ink. I then pop dotted the stamped image onto the Hollyhock CS and called it done! :D

Stamps: With Love & Say It in Style (CTMH) Paper: Hollyhock & White Daisy CS (CTMH) Ink: Breeze, Chocolate & Sweet Leaf (CTMH) Accents: 3-D Foam Squares (CTMH)

Well that's it!!! So sorry its short, sweet and to the point, but like I said I am just super tired!!! I hope everyone has a great Monday and I'll be back with something new for you tomorrow!!! :D

I still have to cut paper, but I always wait till the last minute to do that anyway, oh well! Well I hope you have your shades on because this card is mighty bright!!! I love these colors though and always tend to gravitate toward the bright ones!!! My card base is, you got it a 5" x 5" square card!!! You knew it would be, it has been all week! ;D Anyway, I used Watermelon TCS as my base and then layered a piece of Whoops-A-Daisy B&T on top of that. Next I cut out a piece of Buttercup CS and used my corner rounder on one end and punched holes through the scallops. I then ran a piece of Hydrangea CS through my Cuttlebug using the Spots & Dots folder and layered that on top of the Buttercup CS and taped it to my base. I stamped three daisies from the Happiness stamp set. I stamped two in Watermelon and one in Buttercup and cut them out. I only pop dotted the Buttercup one and I used clear buttons for the centers adding Buttercup CS to two of them and Hydrangea to one. My sentiment is from the Say It In Style stamp set and I stamped it in Brilliance Black Graphite Ink on White Daisy CS. I layered my sentiment onto Watermelon CS and added two Hydrangea Bigger Brads to it!!! What's Up Cupcake?!?!?

Hey there, happy hump day!!! I am so excited to show you my card today. I already sent it to someone so hopefully they received it already!!! It's one of my first MFT stamp sets and I love it. Their latest release was too good to pass up and I just had to get a couple of their new stamp sets!!! So here it is "What's Up Cupcake?" Don't ya' love it?!?!? I wanted to make this card bright and cheery so I decided to pair these cupcakes with my Boom-Di-Ada papers. I love the sweet colors of Buttercup, Sweet Leaf & Hollyhock!!! I stamped the the stand and cupcakes with Brilliance Graphite Black Ink on White Daisy CS. I colored the chocolate cupcakes with a copic marker. The cupcakes are really dark {they almost look burnt...LOL} but I'm just gonna pretend that they are dark chocolate flavored cupcakes {YUM}!!!!! Anywho, I colored the cupcake liners with my Hollyhock marker and added some sparkle with my Pink Sakura Gelly Roll pen. I added some CTMH sparkles for the cherries on my cupcakes and then layered the image on some Barn Red CS and put it aside. My card base is Buttercup and it's a standard A2 size card. I added some Sweet Leaf B&T and a strip of Hollyhock B&T to my card base and then I pop dotted the image onto the card. For the sentiment I stamped "What's up Cupcake?" in Brilliance Graphite Black Ink and layered it onto some Buttercup CS. I then used some Hollyhock Organdy Ribbon and added a Sweet Leaf button and some waxy flax to my ribbon. I pop dotted the sentiment and I was done!!! :D Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone enjoys their Wednesday! Don't forget, if you haven't entered to win some blog candy please do so here! Just leave a comment and it could all be yours!!! :D

And here is a close-up of my sparkly cupcake liners!!! I'm not sure you can really see the sparkle, but they got some real sparkle going on!!! :D

Bella Color Challenge #31...

Hey there! I hope everyone's Monday went well!!! I finally got some new Bellas and I am finally catching up on the last Bella Color Challenge that Sparkle posted a couple of weeks ago!!! Here she is...YOGABELLA , isn't she cute!!! :D For this color challenge Sparkle chose the colors Chocolate, Sunflower, Sweet Leaf & Ocean and I thought these colors when together beautifully!!! Not sure how I came up with the sketch, just kinda floated into my head. I used Chocolate TCS for my base which is a 5" x 5" card. Again, I don't have to tell you how much I {heart} square cards!!! And then for my panels I used Sunflower TCS and then layered them with Sweet Leaf B&T from the Boom-Di-Ada papers. I then added some Chocolate polk-a-dot ribbon to the top of my card. Next I worked on coloring my image. I stamped Yogabella in Brilliance Graphite Black Ink onto White Daisy CS. I used Prisma coloring pencils to color her pants, hair & yoga mat. Next, I used my CTMH blending pen & Sweet Leaf ink to color her shirt and I used a grey copic marker to color her radio. The sentiment comes from the stamp set "Say It In Style" and I stamped it in Brilliance Graphite Black Ink. To finish her off I used some Prima flowers that Melanie gave me and a White Daisy Bigger Brad for the center. I was done with the card when I looked at it and felt it needed something else. I hate when this happens and of course I wanted to add brads. I really didn't like the fact that I would punch brads at the bottom and when you opened the card you would see them, but oh well I wanted them there so I have to deal with it!!! :D Don't forget to check out my Blog Candy giveaway! Check it out here and leave a message to be entered to win!!! Thanks for stopping by today!!! :D

Stamps: Yogabella (Stampingbella) & Say It In Style (CTMH) Paper: Chocolate & Sunflower TCS, Ocean & White Daisy CS & Boom-Di-Ada B&T (CTMH) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black Ink, Prisma Coloring Pencils, Sweet Leaf (CTMH) & Copic Marker Accents: Prima Flowers, White Daisy Bigger Brad & White Daisy Brads (CTMH), Chocolate Polk-a-dot Ribbon (Ribbon FX) & 3-D Foam Squares

For You...

Hey there! I'm off to church this morning and then I am going to go spend some time with my daddy!!! My dad is the best father in the whole wide world!!! He is always there when I need him and there is nothing he wouldn't do for me and I never take that for granted!!! I love him so much!!! Happy Father's Day Dad!!! :D

Well on to today's card that we will be doing for my next card class on Friday, you like?!?!? I think it's fairly simple and easy to mass produce! I used all CTMH products except for the ribbon. My card is a standard 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I used Ocean CS for my base and then layered that with a piece of Hydrangea CS that I ran through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder, again!!! I then cut a 1 1/2" piece of Buttercup CS and used my corner rounder to make scallops on one end, and then I punched a small hole through the scallops and placed it on my Hydrangea CS. Next I stamped two flowers in Hydrangea ink on some White Daisy CS. I cut one out and pop dotted it onto the other flower. I used a clear button and Buttercup CS for the center and tied some waxy flax on it. The sentiment is from the Say It In Style stamp set {I've been wearing that stamp set out!!!} stamped in Brilliance Black Graphite Ink. I then layered my image on some Watermelon CS and pop dotted it onto my base. I tied some yellow ribbon that I received in my packed from the Ellen Huston store onto my image. How sweet it was for them to send me a some with my order!!! :D That's it for today folks, I hope you enjoy spending time with your daddy's today!!! :D

Stamps: With Love & Say It in Style (CTMH) Paper: White Daisy, Ocean, Hydrangea, Buttercup & Watermelon CS (CTMH) Ink: Sweet Leaf & Hydrangea (CTMH) & Brilliance Graphite Black Ink Accents: Corner Rounder, Hole Punch, Clear Buttons & Waxy Flax (CTMH), 3-D Foam Squares, Yellow Ribbon & CB Swiss Dots

Bella Color Challenges #30 & 32...

Good morning, it's Saturday and the sun is shining!!!! :D Well I finally completed two of the three Bella Color Challenges that I am behind on. On Bella Color Challenge #30 Sparkle chose the colors Buttercup, Crystal Blue and Lilac Mist. Well the first thing I did was color my Bella image. I like to work backwards, most people pick out their paper first and then color their image, but not me! So I used some Prisma coloring pencils and a Buttercup CTMH Marker to color Eloise Greengrass in. I have wanted this stamp set for so long, she is just too cute!!! Well once I got my paper out I realized all the colors were a little too dark. So instead of using Lilac Mist I went with Petal. I used a bit of B&T paper from the Garden Party paper pack. For the piece of Buttercup CS I ran it through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder {love it}!!!! Once I taped those two pieces on my card base I found some American Crafts Ribbon that went perfectly with it, and plus it had polk-a-dots on it, so how could I go wrong?!?!?! :D Now I wanted to use my NEW nestabilities that I have probably had for over a month and just barely used them last night. I cut a piece of Crystal Blue CS and embossed it. I then taped my image to the Crystal Blue CS and added some dew drops to the corners and pop dotted it onto my card base. Now that I am looking at the card I probably should have used some stickles, and I may just do that to give her some sparkle!!!! :D

Stamps: Eloise Greengrass & Thank You Fairy Much (Stampingbella) Paper: Buttercup, Crystal Blue & White Daisy CS, & Paper Garden B&T (CTMH) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black Ink, Prisma Coloring Pencils & Buttercup Marker (CTMH) Accents: American Crafts Ribbon, Dew Drops, 3-D Foam Squares & CB Swiss Dots

So this next card is for Bella Color Challenge #32. Sparkle chose the colors Moonstruck, Cranberry & Dutch Blue. I had just gotten my Beerafella stamp set the other day and just had to ink him up. I colored him in using Prisma coloring pencils, Copic Marker & CTMH Moonstruck Marker. I layered him on a piece of Dutch Blue CS and put him to the side. My card is a 5" square card. I layered the base with Moonstruck CS. I then ran a piece of Cranberry CS through my Cuttlebug using the Happy Birthday folder and layered it on top of the Moonstruck CS. I added some 3-D Foam Squares to my image and layered him on top of the Cranberry CS. On the left side of the Cranberry CS I stamped Happy Birthday in Dutch Blue ink. Then I added two White Daisy Bigger Brads to the bottom right had corner and I called it done! This card will go to my triplet brother. Our birthday is in July, so I have one card down just one more to go!!! :D Thanks for stopping by today!!!! :D

Marjorie's Color Challenge #22...

Hey there, TGIF!!!! :D I am so glad Friday is here!!!! I have a busy weekend planned but most of it involves cleaning my apt. and re-organizing some things...especially things in my scrap room, I have got to get a hold of it before it goes too bad!!! LOL!!! :D Then Sunday we are having a cook out at my dad's house and gonna hang by the pool!!! :D Well this card I have to show you today is for Marjorie's Color Challenge. Marjorie chose the colors Cranberry, Twilight, Outdoor Denim and New England Ivy. These are colors that I hardly gravitate too, but I thought these were perfect colors for a Father's Day card. There is really not much going on with this card ( it just might be the simplest card I've done) and since it was going to my dad I didn't want it to be too froo froo!!!! My card is 5 1/4" square, I just {heart} square cards!!!! Anywho, I used Cranberry for my base and added a piece of Outdoor Denim CS that I ran through my Cuttlebug using the Spots & Dots folder. I then added some Twill Ribbon and the only piece of Twilight CS I had to go over the Outdoor Denim CS. I also added some big silver brads to each end. For the "Happy Father's Day" I used the Hodgepodge Alpha {love it} and stamped it in Outdoor Denim ink onto White Daisy CS. I then layered it onto a piece of New England Ivy CS. It's hard to tell in the pic, but I did use it. Then I just pop dotted it onto my card and voila, done!!! I'm not really sure I am all too happy with it so I just might have to make another one, but we'll see it might just grow on me, or not! Well thanks for stopping by today!!!! :D

Stamps: Hodge Podge Alpha (CTMH) Paper: White Daisy, Cranberry, Twilight, Outdoor Denim & New England Ivy CS (CTMH) Ink: Outdoor Denim (CTMH) Accents: Silver Brads & 3-D Foam Squares, Twill Ribbon (CTMH), CB Spots & Dots

Oh My Goodness...

Ok, so let me first start off by saying that I have the best Bella Sistah in the world!!! This is my first time having a Bella Sistah so I didn't know what to expect, but I didn't expect this!!! I got my first package from Kim yesterday and it literally was bulging at the seams. I had to take 3 pics so I could show you all the stuff I got!!! :D I still can't contain myself, I am just over the moon.

In the first pic she made me this beautiful Bella card using my favorite CB folder Swiss Dots!!! She did a fabulous job with the coloring and I love how Bella is pop dotted for some dimension!!! :D Then the pink box sitting next to the card is a box of 6 3 x3 card all made by Kim and she even made her own envies...this girl ROCKS!!! :D I think she made the cute little box that they come in too!!! :D

In the second pic I got the Billboardabella stamp set and a MFT stamps set...YEAH me!!!! :D I can't wait to use either of those. I also got some yummy ribbon, glitter, Bella images and a cute little set of staples, tape, clips, etc.

And here is the last pic of my stuff from Kim. She got me these cute little rhinestone butterflies and some cute pink heart paperclips. She also made me this business card holder with her BIA, it's totally awesome...I love it!!! I got some die cuts, flowers, a little punch, pink staples, a little red mailbox, a wooden stamp and a scrapbooking charm!!! WHEW!!!! That is a lot and like I said totally unexpected!!! Thank you so much Kim, you totally made my week!!! :D

Thanks A Latte from Marjorie...

Hey there! When I came home on Sunday from my camping trip this is what I had waiting in my mailbox. It was a card from Marjorie and she was so sweet to put some Bella images in there too!!! How lucky am I?!?!??! I have already ordered most of these Bellas and they should be here tomorrow but I am just so thrilled to have these images in my hands right now I can't wait to make something with them, thanks Marjorie!!!! :D I am so happy to be getting some new Bellas, I felt like I use the same ones over and over, so I thought it was time to order some new ones. Thanks for stopping by, I'm headed over to my scrap table to see what I can come up with!!! :D

Have A Fabulous Evening!!! :D

Marjorie's Color Challenge #21...

For this color challenge Marjorie chose the colors Star Spangled Blue, Cranberry, Topiary Green & Sunflower. I really liked these colors together and knew that I wanted to use the It's A Jungle stamp set when I saw it. This card is simple but I like it (I think!) Anywho it's a 4 x 4 card and I stamped my background using the Spot on Background set with Star Spangled Blue Ink. I added some Topiary Green & Sunflower CS strips to the background and stamped Hello! onto the Sunflower CS in black ink. I stamped my bird onto a piece of White Daisy CS using black ink. I used my coloring pencils to color him in and outlined him in my Cool Gray Copic Marker. I used my scalloped circle punch and punched out a piece of Cranberry CS to layer my bird on. Like I said, nothing much to it...just plain and simple. I am slowly getting back to normal here, just haven't been feeling the best lately. Thanks for stopping by!!! :D

ETA: Ok, I really appreciate all the comments on this card, but all day at work I kept looking at it and wasn't really all that happy with it. I guess I didn't like all the blue paper stamped with that background set and I just felt like it needed something at the bottom. So I changed my card and here is the new one!!! :D All I did was make the Sunflower piece longer and paper pieced it at the bottom. I also added a White Daisy Bigger Brad to each end of my image. Hope you like!!! :D

Here is the first one I did, but I really like the second one much better. I am gonna leave it up here so you can see the difference.

Stamps: Spot on Backgrounds, Say It With Style & Life's a Jungle (CTMH) Paper: Star Spangled Blue, Topiary Green, Sunflower, Cranberry & White Daisy CS (CTMH) Ink: Black & Star Spangled Blue (CTMH) Accents: Scalloped Circle Punch (Paper Studio), 3-D Foam Squares, White Daisy Bigger Brads (CTMH), Mat Pack
