Wow, I can't believe it's Thursday already! And believe it or not...I am so ready for the weekend to get here!!! :) Even though it was a short work week, it's been a busy one. Last night I worked on Dawn McVey's Raspberry Sweet Color Challenge #7. All I have to say is that this color combo ROCKS!!!
For this card, I used Prism Spring Willow, CTMH White Daisy & PTI Raspberry Fizz & 2008 Bitty Dot Basics in Spring Moss. I also used Dawn's set Damask Designs as well. This set is just gorgeous and I had so much fun working with it. I stamped Watermelon Ink onto the Raspberry Fizz CS and embossed it with clear embossing powder...just to give it some umph! :) You can't tell in the picture, and even if you can it's very faint...but I scored the bottom part of the Bitty Dot paper...like I said it's very faint. It really looks good IRL though...you'll just have to trust me! :) I added some stitching, some Primas and I again...I used PTI's Mega Mixed Messages for the sentiment. Seriously, if you don't have this set you should get it. There's so many great sentiments and the fonts are just fabulous! :) I used my Tags Trio Nestabilities for the sentiment and just like Debbie Olson does, I cut it and rounded the edges. I used some waxy flax to tie my sentiment around the ribbon and called it done! :)
I had a ridiculously hard time trying to photog this pic and this was the best I could do. Tell me, how do you girlies photograph your pics. What kind of lighting do you use, tents, etc.? I would love to know what kind of set-up everyone has!
Ok, well that's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone has a fabulous Thursday!!! :) ~ Jenn

Love your fun stiching, big flowers and wonderful button. Great attention to details! Way to go on this fun color combo.
It's a good life!

This is gorgeous! As for how I photograph my cards, I made an enclosure using the white foam boards. I then put the card in there with some overhead, back lighting and then take my pic. I'll try and post on my blog sometime soon a picture of it.
Very pretty, love the colors!!
Love the damask border and the stitching. Very pretty!
This is super delicious Jenn!! I am loving that color combo too! When I photograph my cards, I use two sheets of kraft cardstock (my camera doesn't handle the white cardstock very well) and a table by a huge picture window we have in the living room. Natural light and cardstock - cheap, cheap, cheap! LOL Thanks for the birthday wishes girly! :)
oh Jenn...this is absolutely STUNNING...wowza!!
Very pretty! Love the big flower!!
I love your card! I am an avid crafter who is a bit obsessed with organization. I have found the greatest craft furniture at the following website. I especially love the workbox. I am currently competing to win the EZ View desk. If you like, check out the site and vote for my entry in the giveaway gallery.
Thanks in advance.

Your card is gorgeous! I have the little sentiments...guess I'll have to get the bigger ones now. :)
Jenn, i LOVE this card. everything about it. I totally dig those mega mixed messages too! i dont have any advise about taking pics. but i use ctmh file folder standing up and white cs on the bottom. i sit that under my ott light that sits on my scrap desk. one thing that has really helped me is i then upload the pic to picresize.com and sharpen the photo. hth
Jennifer, this is so pretty! I love the colors, stitching, and the layered flower!
Beautiful! I love this colour combo - I found it a joy to play with myself! Your card has so much I love, the stitching, the scoring, the cute button - everything!
I photograph my card by using two sheets of white cs and natural light from a patio window (then I sneak onto picnik and edit them to look A LOT better LOL!)
