Happy Spring

So it's been forever since I have posted, but I am back today with something new! I started by stamping this cute Happy Spring stamp on White Daisy CS using Brilliance Graphite Black Ink. I used my coloring pencils to color in the image and then matted it on a piece of Watermelon CS. The base of my card is a 5 1/2 x 11 piece of Watermelon CS folded in half. I then matted my CS with a piece of Green Polka Dot DP from Making Memories. I then cut a 2 1/2 in. strip of Ocean CS and used my corner punch to make the scalloped edge and then I taped a piece of white twill to the non scalloped edge and placed it on top of the Green DP. And to finish the card I added 3White Daisy Brads to the bottom right hand corner and pop-dotted my sentiment onto the DP.

Stamps: Happy Spring (Stampendous) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black Ink Paper: Watermelon CS, Ocean CS, White Daisy CS (CTMH), Making Memories DP Other: White Twill (Martha Stewart), White Daisy Brads (CTMH), Coloring Pencils, Corner Punch

Have a Fabulous Day!!! :D

Ha! These are all the colors I just saw in Mervyns last night, dresses, blouses, shoes, it was like walking through a meadow in there! I am NOT a girl for 'career neutrals' when it comes to colors. Your card is alive! Is it attracting hummingbirds?

Happy Spring! I love the colors on this card... so bold and beautiful. Terrific layout too. Spring is in the air! At least it is in sunny California! lol! A bit chilly but the sun is definitely shining.
