Need a Cuddle?!?!

Hey there! Hope everyone is enjoying their long holiday weekend?!?! I have been so busy that this is the first day that I've done any stamping! I had game night on Friday at a friends house and yesterday we went to an outlet mall here in Houston. So it's been busy, busy, busy and tomrrow I am going over to hang out at my dad's house to eat and swim! :D

Well enough about me, here's a card I made using one of my new Paper Prettie stamps called Need a Cuddle? I just love Sophia and thought she would go great paired with the Silhouette polka dot paper and I decided to add Blush with it! :D I love how it came out, it's a little simple but I like it! :D Well sorry this is short, but I'm off to watch some Big Brother and then do some more stamping!!! Well it's been awhile...

Since my last post, I hope I still have some readers out there...LOL!!! :D Life's just been busy with work and home that I haven't had much time to do any card making lately. I've gotten some new stamps and they are all waiting to be inked up, hopefully with the long weekend approaching I can find some time to stamp!

Here's one of my new stamps from Paper Pretties called Bunny Slippers Sophia! :D This is so me in the mornings...I am totally not a morning person!!! :D I had a difficult time with this card last night, it was like pulling teeth. So after a few hours I decided this will have to do...it was already late and I needed to get to bed. My card is a 5" x 10" piece of Chocolate CS folded in half. I then layered a piece of Baby Pink CS on top of that and then a piece of Creative Cafe dp on top of that! :D I just love this paper and have been using it quite a bit lately...hope your not too tired of it?!?! :D I then pierced around the whole dp sheet and added a silver brad to each corner. I stamped Sophia with Brilliance Graphite Black onto White Daisy CS and colored her with my copics. I then layered her onto some Baby Pink CS and then on some Chocolate CS. I love piercing so I pierced around the whole image and added a silver brad to each corner. I added some chocolate grosgrain ribbon and pop dotted my image onto my base. I stamped my sentiment in Brilliance Graphite Black as well and layered it on a piece of Baby Pink CS, also piercing and adding brads to it! :D

New CTMH Colors...

Happy Saturday Morning!!! :D I am up early because I have a unit meeting this morning, so I decided to post my card that I had to make for the meeting today! :D It uses the new CTMH colors Creme Brulee, Tulip, Juniper and Sorbet...aren't those colors just scrumptious?!?! :D It's a 4 1/4" square card, something simple and easy! :D I used Creme Brulee for my base and added strips of Tulip and Juniper. My main image uses the new Sept. SOTM Treasure Life and I stamped the flowers in Tulip on White Daisy CS. I then layered my image onto some Spring Iris CS and added three Sorbet brads to the center of my flowers. I forgot to mention that I distressed all the pieces of CS then I added a piece of twill ribbon around my image and pop dotted it onto my base. The sentiment was stamped in Chocolate Ink and it's from the Whooo loves you stamp set from CTMH. My final step was to pierce around the corners of my main image just to give it a little something extra!!! :D

Hello Fabby...

Good evening, almost early Saturday morning! Sorry it's been a while since I posted something new, but I definitely have something cute and new today! Laurel sent me this sweet Fabby image from Stamping Bella, isn't she just the cutest?!?! I knew I wanted to use this color combo and my Creative Cafe papers from CTMH when I saw this image...she's so cute!!! :D My card is a standard piece of Chocolate CS that I ran through my CB using the Spots and Dots folder. I cut a strip of Creative Cafe dp and layered it onto a piece of Blush CS and taped it down the middle of my base. I then colored my image with my copic markers and layered Fabby onto some Baby Pink, Chocolate & Sweet Leaf CS. I then added a silver brad to each corner and one prima flower on the top left corner. Super cute card, eh?!?! Well that's it for tonight folks. I made another card tonight, but I can't get a great pic, the colors are off . I have a unit meeting tomorrow so I better get to bed now!!! Hey, Hey, Hey!!!

Hey there...how was everyone's Hump day?!?! Mine was ok, I was about an hour late to work though! I could not for the life of me get up today. I woke up when my hubby came to the bedroom to give me a kiss on my forehead before he left for work (as he does every morning) and I woke up with a headache. Waking up with headaches are never good for me. So I fell right back to sleep when he left and good thing he called me when he got to work because it was already 7am and I was still asleep! I am supposed to be out the door by 7am, no later than 720am, and what do I do...I get off the phone with him and fall right back to sleep till 730am. I just could not get out of bed, my head hurt and I didn't feel like going to work. So I called work and told them I'll be late. Oh well I still have a slight headache, but it's not as bad as it was this morning.

Well I know you didn't come here to hear me blab, you came here to see something so much better, but I don't have nothing for ya'...nada, zero, zilch. (LOL!!!) I am still working on my swap cards and I just haven't felt like creating much of anything lately...I am so sorry! But guess what?!?! I still have something awesome to show you that I received from my good friend Laurel today!!! She sent me a birthday card with some OH SO FUN images and I can't wait to color them in!!! :D This card is so sweet and I just love every detail and I love how Laurel stitches on her cards...just beautiful!!! :D


And aren't these the sweetest images?!?! I can't wait to color that mouse sitting on that yummalicious cupcake, I just hope I don't mess him up cause I've got one shot to make him pretty!!! :D Thanks Laurel so much for these great images and super adorable card...YOU ROCK!!! :D

Well I have another reason to be excited...my Paper Pretties stamps were in my mailbox waiting for me....YAY!!! :D I just wonder how long they have been sitting there, I hadn't checked my mailbox since Saturday! Oh well...there here with me now and I can't wait to use them. I also told you about my new Bellas the other day and Sparkle asked me what I got so here it goes...I got Halobella, Globetrottabella, Daisybella (love her), Chefabella and I Can't See A Thing Abella (So cute)!!! :D I also got a few sentiments like Surprise, Hang in There and You're An Angel! I saw all the new stuff online the other day and I know I will have to place an order soon!!! :D Well that's it for me today folks!!! :D Anyone going to the Bella Back to School Bash happening in the Bella forum tonight on SCS!!! Happy Hello...

Hey there! Hope everyone had a great weekend and a fabulous Monday!!! :D My weekend was pretty busy...ran errands, got my hair colored and cut, and did some shopping!!! :D My Monday wasn't so bad either and I meant to post this cute Sophia card yesterday, but just didn't get the chance. I have also been working on some cards for a Paper Pretties Swap (no these are not them..LOL!!!). I think I am finally happy with my card, so now I can mass produce them...yay!!! I actually woke up at 4am this morning to finish them, I went to bed at 8pm last night so I had plenty of sleep!!! :D I hope your not getting tired of this Sophia?!?! I actually ordered more but they just haven't come in yet. So let's get on to the card....

I used some paper that Carolyn sent me called Creative Cafe by CTMH. It's been retired, but I wasn't a consultant yet or didn't even know about CTMH then, so Carolyn was so nice to send me some...thanks girlie!!! :D My card is pretty simple...used my corner rounder for the scallops, colored Sophia with my copics, paper pierced around the image and added some silver brads to each corner of the image. And there ya' have it...easy peasy! :D

I got my new colors from CTMH yesterday...I so can't wait to use them, but I have to finish my swap cards before I can jump into anything new! I also received some new Bellas on Friday and have yet to open them as well. My two great friends Andrea and Elizabeth got a me a gift voucher to Stamping Bella for my b-day so they finally came in and I can't wait to get them all inky!!! :D Well thanks for listening to me ramble on and on, but I gotta run. Happy Friday!!! I'm so glad that the weekend is here and I hope to get a lot of stamping done too!!! :D I was able to cut out all my paper early last night for my class tonight, so I decided to make this card before I called it a night. A few more cards for a class...

Happy Hump Day!!! ;D The week sure flies by and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, because the weekend seems to fly by faster!!! LOL!!!! :D Oh well, gotta take what you can get, right?!?! Well I've been busy working on a few cards for a class I will be having on Friday. I finally finished my last two cards last night. I used two new SOTM from CTMH's new fall catty!!! :D Both of these cards are really simple and easy and I just love the color combo of the first card. My sister was over last night having dinner with us and I made her help me with this first card. I wanted to pick a FUN color combo and I think we did just that. She picked Breeze & Outdoor Denim and I added Pink Carnation and Sweet Leaf. When it was done she said that she picked a great color combo and I had to remind her that she only picked half...LOL!!! :D

Stamps: Annotations (CTMH) Paper: Outdoor Denim & Sweet Leaf TCS & White Daisy, Breeze & Pink Carnation CS (CTMH) Ink: Sweet Leaf & Outdoor Denim (CTMH) Accents: Mat Pack & White Daisy Bigger Brads & Sanding Block (CTMH)

For this card I used the October SOTM called Annotations. I love the tag shapes and my favorite part about this stamp is the font of the sentiments...LOVE IT!!! :D I used Breeze for my base and added a 3" x 4 1/4 " in piece of Outdoor Denim TCS that I scored and distressed a bit with my sanding block. I then cut a 1/4" strip of Pink Carnation CS that I pierced with my mat pack and taped it over my Outdoor Denim TCS. Next I stamped the tag in Sweet Leaf ink onto some Sweet Leaf TCS, cut out the center and added a piece of WhiteDaisy CS to the back and stamped my sentiment in Outdoor Denim ink. To finish the card I added two White Daisy Bigger brads to the top left hand corner. Although I like it, I still feel like it's missing something, what do you think?!?!? Should I keep as is, or should I change it?!?!

My next card uses the Sept. SOTM called Treasure Life. I am really lovin this stamp set and I chose to do a similar card like my card from yesterday using the same LO but used the colors Black, Watermelon & White Daisy and I really like it!!! :D My base is Black TCS and I added a 2" in strip of Watermelon CS that I ran through my CB using the Swiss Dots folder. I don't know what I would ever do without my CB...I LOVE IT!!! :D I then stamped my image in Watermelon ink onto White Daisy CS and layered it onto a piece of Black TCS. Next I added two silver brads to the flower centers and I stamped "thank you" from the Annotations stamp set in Black ink. Next I went to piercing around the image, added some black polka dot ribbon and pop dotted it onto my base. Pretty simple, eh?!?! :D

A Sneak Peek and an Old Favorite...

Happy Tuesday!!! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods, I'm just here trying to get through another day of work...LOL!!! :D Last night I had some free time to work on a few cards and they really came together fast, took about an hour for both...now that's fast for me!!! :D The first card gives a sneak peek at the CTMH September Stamp of the Month. Now I wasn't sure I liked it when I saw it, but after making this card....I LOVE IT!!! :D This card is different from what I normally do as far as my stamped images go...but I guess that's why I like it so much. I chose the colors Hollyhock, Sweet Leaf, Olive, Autumn Terracotta & Buttercup. Let me know what ya think!!!

Thank You...

Hey there...how's your weekend been so far?!?! Mine has been pretty busy. Yesterday I went with my husband to Bass Pro which wasn't all that bad and we weren't there forever like I thought we would be. Then my sister asked me to go to Bay City with her. Her friend was having a scrapbooking get together and she wanted to us to go. So we left at 2pm, got there at 4pm, stayed till 1030pm and got home to Houston at 1230am. So needless to say I am super tired!!! I didn't get as much done as I thought I would, but I did make this one card while I was there.

I stamped Lattebella with Brilliance Graphite Black onto White Daisy CS and colored her with my copics. I then matted her on a piece of Bazzil Bling Tiara CS and then pierced the side, then added a pink prima and black brad. My base is pretty simple, but don't ask me the size of it because I just cut it down till I thought it looked ok. Then I added a strip of polka dot paper from the Silhouette paper pack and pop dotted my image on top!!! Here is also a sneak peak of CTMH's December SOTM called Heart Throb that I stamped in the bottom right hand corner. I love it, it's super cute and has kind of a whimsical feel to me!!! :D Well that's it, I am off to finish some laundry, watch some Olympics (I like the swimming) and then watch Big Brother!!! :D Thanks for stopping by today, enjoy the rest of your weekend!!! :D

Just a Few Cards...

Hey there...Happy Saturday!!! What do you have planned for this beautiful weekend?!?! Well I have some stamping I want to catch up on, but right now I am supposed to be getting ready to go to The Brass Pro Shop (hunting, fishing, etc...) with my husband. Really not my kind of store, but I just hope we're not there too long...LOL!!! :D

Anywho...I wanted to share with you a few cards that I was able to create last night. I just love the color combos that I used so funky and fresh...LOL! On my first card I used the colors Hydrangea, Ocean, & Cranberry. I love this Funky Clothesline stamp from Stamping Bella...so cute!!! :D Same simple LO I have been using for a while now...I so need to change it up a bit, but I think it's cute!!! :D

Now for my second card I used the colors Pink Carnation, Sunny Yellow, Orange & Topiary...such a fun and bright color combo!!! :D I colored Billboardabella with my copics and matted her onto a piece of Topiary TCS that I cut with my Rectangle Nestabilities. I then added a silver brad to each corner and then pop dotted her onto a piece of Orange CS that I ran through my CB using the Swiss Dots folder. I then pop dotted the image onto my Pink Carnation Base. I also used some fun ribbon that I got from my Bella Sistah Kim...it went so perfect with this card!!! :D

Bella Color Challenge #40...

Happy Friday!!! Well I had some free time last night so I decided to work on the Bella color challenge. Sparkle chose the colors Black, Autumn Terracotta, Heavenly Blue & Kiwi. I only looked at the color challenge once and thought that Breeze was in there, but it wasn't and I only realized that once the card was already made. But I didn't have Heavenly Blue or Kiwi anyway so I used Breeze and Citrus Leaf instead...hope that's ok!!! :D I used one of my newest stamps that has yet to see ink...I-Wish-I-Looked-So-Good-On- A-Bike-Abella (whew...that was long). I think she is just super cute and thought should would looked great in these colors.

I colored my bella with my copics and added some sparkle to her with my Copic Spica Glitter Pen. I then used my mat pack to pierce around the whole image and layered her on a piece of Citrus Leaf CS. I did color her bike and little White Daisy flower with my blender pen and Kiwi ink pad. I then added some black pearls and a blue prima and white daisy flower with a black brad. Next I went to work on my base which is pretty simple. It a 5" x 10" piece of Bazzil Bling Black Tie CS folded in half. I just love the shimmer this CS gives...so sparkly!!! :D Then I added a strip of Breeze CS and Autumn Terracotta that I ran through my CB using the Bloomin Dots folder and placed it in the center of the card. Layered my image on top with some foam circles and tada!!!! Well I hope everyone has a Rockin Friday!!! :D Can't wait till the work day is over so I can come home and stamp!!! :D LOL!!! :D

Bella Color Challenge #37...

Happy Thursday everyone!!! :D I'm so glad the weekend is fastly approaching and I hope to get some stamping done. I still need to catch up on some challenges and I still need to get some cards done for my class next Friday...nothing like waiting till the last minute!!! :D

Well I think I am all caught up on the Bella Color Challenges except for the one that Sparkle posted today...so yay me!!! :D For BCC37 Sparkle chose the colors Outdoor Denim, Sweet Leaf, Grey Wool and Breeze. I had already colored Lattebella the other night so all I had to do was put the card together. I am really pleased with how this card turned out and I really love all the different layers!!! :D Well that's it for today! Sweet Birthday Card...

Hey there!!! First off I just want to thank everyone who had me in their prayers and to let everyone know that the storm missed us and all we got was some rain and wind...nothing too bad...so everyone is safe! :D My husband and I were able to stay home from work today due to the bad weather...so I have just been catching up on my sleep...LOL!!!

Lovin' Teacup Daisies...

So I am just lovin' this new Teacup Daisies stamp that I got from Hope! I can't seem to stop using it...LOL!!! :D I made a couple of cards with this stamp set this weekend that I love!!! The first card uses a color combo that I've never used before but I am lovin' it. The colors I chose are Clover Meadow, Orange, Buttercup and Outdoor Denim. It's a pretty simple card and a sketch that I always lean on when I don't know what else to do! :D

My next card uses the same image, but I used some Boom-Di-Ada dp and the colors are Sweet Leaf, Hollyhock, Autumn Terracotta, Buttercup & Olive. I just love the polka dot dp and wanted that as my base. I am gonna send this card out, but I was a little hesitant because I hand stitched it and the inside of the card doesn't look so well...LOL!!! But I love it and I hope the person who receives it will too!!! :D

Well I'm off to work. It might be a busy day because I work in Galveston and they're predicting the storm in the Gulf to come our way. If so, it will be a day of packing up our two story office which will not be fun. This will be the second time that we've had to do this, the first time was when they thought Rita was gonna hit us and she went another way. Bella Color Challenge #38

Hey there!!! I am back with a challenge that I had yet to do. It's Bella Color Challenge #38 and Sparkle chose the colors Grey Wool, Pink Carnation, Watermelon & Gray Flannel. I'm posting this in the middle of Big Brother...so this will be short & sweet! I colored Yogabella with my copics and matted her with a piece of Pink Carnation CS and then pop dotted the image onto a piece of Watermelon CS that I ran through my CB using the Swiss Dots folder. I then place the whole image on a piece of Bazzil Bling Tiara CS...adds such a sparkle IRL. Next I put a Pink Prima flower in the upper right hand corner and attached my sentiment...easy peasy!!! :D Thanks for stopping by and come back tomorrow for something new!!! :D

Bella Goodies....

So as promised here is what my Bella Sistah Kim sent me!!!! She sent so many FUN things!!! I got two Cuttlebug folders, Hologram stickers, Wendy Papillon stamp from Stamping Bella and some eyelets and a little stamp set from Studio G. I have so been wanting the Wendy Papillon stamp I am so stoked that I received it. I can't wait to ink her up!!! :D

And if that wasn't enought I also got this cute stamp set from MFT called Bunny Slippers...how cute is that?!?! I got some Provo Craft scissors and some beautiful ribbon...can't wait to use it all!!! :D

Oh and will you look at this amazing piece of work!!! My bella sistah Kim made this for me and it's so amazing!!!! I know this must have taken alot of time to do and I am so thankful that she gave it to me...it's just fabulous!!! :D Thanks again Kim for all the wonderful goodies...now I'm gonna go put them to use!!! :D

Bella Color Challenge #39...

Happy Friday!!! Wow, so I have finally completed a Bella challenge...YAY ME!!! :D I feel like it's been forever since I have done a challenge and it felt so good last night to work on one!!! :D Sparkle chose the colors Cranberry, Crystal Blue, Smokey Plum and Pink Carnation!!! I couldn't wait to use my new stamp that I got from Hope's Blog Candy...this teacup daisies stamp is just too cute! :D I colored the flowers and leaves using my Copics and I colored the teacups using my blender pen and Crystal Blue ink pad. I then outlined the image with my Cool Gray Copic marker and traced the daisies with my Copic Spica glitter pen to add some shimmer. The card is very simple, my base is Crystal Blue and I just added strips of Pink Carnation, Cranberry and Smokey Plum CS that I ran through my CB using the Swiss Dots folder. Placed my image on top and tada...it's finished! :D I may come back later with a better pic...there wasn't enough light when I took it this morning so it look a little dark to me! Hope everyone has a Happy Friday!!! :D
