Birthday SFYTT

Hey there! I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend thus far. It's been a very relaxing weekend for me...I got a few crafty things done! :) Here's my card for Jen's SFYTT. I really liked the sketch and couldn't wait to get working on it.

My niece's birthday is this coming Saturday, so I thought I would get a head start and work on something special for her. I found this American Craft's Teen Paper at my LSS yesterday and I thought it would be perfect for a 12yr. old. I just loved the bright colors, and what better stamp to pair it with than with Maisy Ketto. I just love the little crown she's wearing...too cute! :)

Well that's it for me today, I'm off to work on some more challenges! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous Sunday! :) ~Jenn

Rollanda Ketto SFYTT

Hey there, Happy Tuesday! :) I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I spent a lot of time with family and on Monday spent the day in my craft room...how can you beat that?!?! So here is my card for Jen's SFYTT, and decided that today was just as good as any to use my new Ketto's! :)

I stamped Rollanda Ketto in Brilliance Graphite Black Ink and colored her with my Copics. I added some Star Dust Stickles to her wings and put her aside to dry. I then worked on my base using the My Mind's Eye Bloom & Grow papers again. I just heart these papers...so fun! :) Once my base was done I cut out Rollanda Ketto with my Labels One Nesties and then I taped her onto some striped paper from the same line, using my scissors to cut out a border. I then stamped "hello" with Brilliance Coffee Bean Ink, added some Primas and a brad and called it done! :) Well I hope everyone has a fabulous day!!! Look on the bright side...it's only a four day work week...woot, woot!!! :) ~Jenn

Stamps: Stamping Bella "Rollanda Ketto" & Papertrey Ink "Mega Mixed Messages" Paper: PTI Kraft, CTMH White Daisy & My Mind's Eye Bloom & Grow Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black & Coffee Bean Ink, Copics Accents: Star Dust Stickles, Primas, White Brad (Spare Parts) Tools: Scalloped Punch (Fiskars) & Labels One Nestabilities

Dorothy Anya

Hey there! I've got another Anya card to show you today and she is Dorothy Anya. Isn't she the cutest thing ever?!?! I tried to use Jen's SFYTT from a couple of weeks ago, but that totally didn't happen. I used some elements of the sketch, but I couldn't fit Anya into an oval so I just pop dotted her onto my base.

I used some of my new Basic Grey Eva dp for this card and of course I had to add some stitching! I mean what would one of my cards be without stitching?!?! I know...it's a sickness! LOL!!! :D I colored her with my Copics and CTMH Inks & blender pen. I stamped the sentiment with Purple Pansy Ink and added two pink Creative Cafe Buttons and looped some waxy flax through the centers!

Well that's it for me today! I've got alot to do at work today, which I'm glad because it makes the day go buy faster!!! :D Take care ~ Jenn

Stamps: Dorothy Anya Digi Stamp (The Greeting Farm) & Say It In Style (CTMH) Paper: Basic Grey Eva 6x6 Paper Pad & CTMH CS Ink: Copics & Purple Pansy Ink (CTMH) Accents: Swiss Dots CB Folder, Janome Sew Mini, Buttons (Creative Cafe), Pop Dots, Blender Pen & Colonial White Waxy Flax (CTMH)

Poppy Bittybloom SFYTT

Hey there, I'm back with another post today! It's been just a fabulous Sunday...we went to church this morning and then went downtown to eat lunch with my brother. It's been a very joyous and relaxing day...spending time with the people I love. When we got home I settled into some comfy clothes and told my hubby that I'd be stamping the rest of the afternoon! :D I loved Jen's sketch when I saw it and I've been chomping at the bit since yesterday to get it done!

ETA: I took another pic of this card because after I posted it I decided to put a sentiment on it. When I took the first pic it didn't have one.

I inked up Poppy Bittybloom for this one...isn't she just the sweetest?!?!?! I also used some of my new paper that I got at my LSS yesterday...it's by Making Memories called Paperie Rouge & Mocha. The papers in that collection are just sooo yummy! :D I added some White Daisy Flowers, Brads and Ribbon and called it done! :D

Well I hope everyone enjoys their evening! I'll be in my room stamping and waiting for my Sunday shows to come on...Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters. Take care ~ Jenn

Look Out World!!!

Happy Friday everyone! :D I'm so glad the weekend is here, it's gonna be a busy one! I'm almost done with ALL my Christmas shopping so I hope to get some more done this weekend, and then we are going to a Christmas party on Saturday. I know it's kinda early for parties right now, but it' was the only weekend that everyone was able to attend...it shall be FUN!!!! :D

For my card today, I knew I wanted to use Jen's SFYTT. She has a circle where I put my square image, but I'm thinking this will still work. I had colored Cooper a few nights ago and knew that I wanted to use my Star Struck paper with him. Isn't he adorable?!?!?! And as I sat in bed last night watching TV I decided to get up and finish this card!!! It came together pretty quickly since I was already using Jen's great sketch! :D

Stamps: Look Out World (Paper Pretties) Paper: Star Struck & Chocolate, Buttercup, Twilight & Sweet Leaf CS Ink: Chocolate, Twilight, Buttercup & CTMH Markers Accents: Ghost Stars (Heidi Swapp), Chocolate Brads (CTMH), Paper Piercer & Pop Dots

As I'm typing this up, I just realized this was an all CTMH card except for the stamps & ghost accents...yeah ME! :D I was thinking the two designer papers were gonna be too busy together, at least that's what my husband said. But I decided to do it anyway and I am soooo happy with the outcome! :D Well that's it for me right now. I need to finish getting ready because I have to be at the doctor's office soon and then I'm headed to work. Thanks for stopping by & I hope everyone has a Fantastic Friday!!! :D

Yay!!! I got my new stamps and I'm doing the happy dance!!! I got home yesterday evening and there they were, waiting for me on my front doorstep. I was so excited that I got my new stamp set from Unity Stamps called "Cupcake A'La Yummy" and yes they are yummy!!!! :D I couldn't wait to just ink them up!!! I got some new paper at my LSS today from Cosmo Cricket called Hello Sunshine. I just love the bold colors in this paper, I am just kicking myself that I didn't get more. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to make another trip! ;D

So I decided to try out Jen del Muro's SFYTT again this Saturday. It seemed like a pretty easy sketch and I knew that I was gonna use my new cupcake stamps & paper! I'm really lovin' how this card came out, it just looks so fun!!! :D Well that's it for me right now, I'm off to do some more stamping!!! :D Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you are having a great weekend! :D

SFYTT Challenge...

So I decided to try Jen del Muro's SFYTT challenge this weekend!!! Did you see who the guest designer is, none other than Jessica Rone. You should check out both of these terrific designers blogs, they have enough eye candy that you'll be drooling all over it. {LOL}!!!!

So on to my card! I had to flip my sketch for my image to fit, but I am really loving this card. I thought I was slick and picked this new color combo that I had never tried before. I had my Breeze, Cranberry & Buttercup ink pads stacked on one another and said, "That's a pretty combo, let's use it"! Well as I started coloring my image I realized where I had seen this color combo before. It's the colors from the Let's Get Together paper from CTMH. Oh well, maybe next time I can be original {LOL}!!! :D Well I used Cranberry CS for my base and ran it through my cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder {imagine that!}. I colored Yogabella using my Copic Markers & CTMH Ink & Blender Pen. I then matted her onto some Buttercup CS and then Breeze CS and put her aside. Next it was time to work on those little squares. I used some Buttercup dp from the Let's Get Together Level 2 paper pack. I matted them onto Breeze CS and taped them to my base. Now I wanted to use some flowers and the halfback pearls just seems so perfect for them. I used one large pearl for the center and then added the small ones around the large one. It was a little tedious but I am so glad I took the time to do it, I so love the outcome! :D I added my sentiment and some White Organdy Ribbon and it was done!

This weekend has been so long and I have no idea how I will get up for work tomorrow. :( We have been staying up late and sleeping in, it has totally ruined our schedule!!! Oh well, I guess that's what holiday weekends are for!!! :D Thanks for stopping by today and stayed tuned as I will have Taylor's Sketch Challenge to show you tomorrow! :D

Marjorie's Color Challenge #16 & SFYTT...

Good evening everyone...I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!!! :D I have had a great weekend...and I am sad to see Monday come tomorrow. :( Anyway, I wanted to get some challenges done so I combined two together. This card is for Marjorie's Color Challenge and for Jen Del Muro's Sketch For You To Try Challenge. I always love doing Marjorie's color challenges and this is my first time trying Jen's SFYTT challenge. For the color challenge we were to use Blush, Garden Green and Hollyhock. You can add a color and I added Colonial White. Jen's sketch was awesome and I think I am going to try and do her sketches more often...it was so much fun!!! :D I used the Simple Beauty stamp set for this card...it was one of CTMH's Stamp of the Month...sorry I can't remember which month, but it is my first time inking it up! I also used some B&T from the Floral Tapestry paper pack...I just love polka dots and I sanded all the Blush and Hollyhock CS. I ink distressed the Colonial White with Garden Green on both images and sentiment. I added some Colonial White Bigger Brads and smaller brads. I hope I get to get another card done b/f I call it quits for the night, but we'll see b/c my show Brother's & Sister's comes on tonight!!!! :D

Stamps: Simple Beauty (CTMH) Paper: Blush, Colonial White & Hollyhock CS and Floral Tapestry B&T (CTMH) Ink: Blush, Hollyhock & Garden Green (CTMH) Accents: Colonial White Bigger & Smaller Brads
