Blog Candy Winnings!!!

So here goes a quick post...I need to start the laundry and Big Brother comes on in 30 mins...so this will be short and sweet!!! I wanted to post my blog candy winnings that I received from Hope the other day. This is my first time ever winning blog candy...so I was super excited when Hope told me I won!!! Paper Pretties Polka Dot Challenge...

Hey there...Happy Thursday!!! One more day till my hubby comes home...I'm just counting the days!!! LOL!!! :D

We'll here is my first challenge card for Paper Pretties. Danielle challenged us to use polka dots! I mean, who out there doesn't like Polka dots...I really thought this was a great challenge!!! :D I used some dp from We R Memory Makers called Frenzy...I just love the colors. I colored Sophia using my copics and I also used my copic spica glitter pen to add some shimmer to the butterfly...looks very prettie IRL. I placed the my Sophia image onto a piece of Sunflower CS that I punched with my Marvy scallop punch then ran through my CB using the Swiss Dots folder and pop dotted her onto my card. Pretty easy peasy!!! Sorry this post is short and sweet...but gotta finish getting ready for work!!! LOL!!! Thanks for stopping by!!! :D

Another Sophia Card...

Hey there!!! First of all thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!!! I had a fab day yesterday!!! My sister, my SIL Kelly and our friend Veronica went out for some drinks and dinner last night and had a great time!!! Thanks to everyone for making my birthday so special!!!

Today in the mail I received my blog candy from Hope, did I tell you guys that I WON blog candy?!?!? Well I did and it's the best blog candy ever because it was Bella blog candy...how can you go wrong with that?!?! Thanks Hope!!! And I also got a package from my Bella Sistah Kim and boy I can't wait to take pics of everything she sent me...THANKS SO MUCH KIM, YOU ROCK!!!! :D Since my hubby went to Kentucky for business he took my camera and so I had to borrow my sisters camera. Well her camera has such a low battery and she can't find her charger, and I don't want to run the battery completely down so I won't probably take pics of my new things till Friday when my hubby gets back. So please check back with me then, you won't want to miss seeing all my goodies!!! :D

But I did want to post this cute card I made using Sophia from Paper Pretties. Isn't she the cutest thing you've ever seen...just love her!!! :D And you all know how I love bright colors, right?!?! Well I always see this image in sweet soft colors so I decided to go out of the norm and make her using some bright and funky colors...do ya' like?!?! I got this funky looking dp from my LSS and it's by Glitz...I bought all the papers that go with it...they are just so me!!! :D This card is pretty simple, I used my copics to color Sophia, added some white daisy brads and some green polka dot ribbon and she was done!!! :D Well thanks so much for stopping by today...since my husband is away I am hoping to get quite a bit of cards made...let's just see how well I do. Happy Birthday To Me!!!!

So today is finally my birthday...whohoo!!! :D I also have to give a shout out to my brother Jon and sister Jean for it is their birthdays as well so...Happy Birthday guys...love you!!! :D I received some fabulous cards & goodies from some fellow blogging buddies. I was so suprised and wasn't expecting anything and when I went to the mailbox I couldn't wait to get inside to open my packages up!!! :D

This first card is from Stacy, a fellow CTMH sister and just the sweetest person I know! :D I absolutely love the card she made for me and love the flowers that were inside!!! Thanks so much Stacy!!! :D

This second card and little goodies are from Carolina! Let me tell you, I was so happy to receive this super cute card!!! I loved it when she posted it on her blog and to now have it in my little hands it's even more beautiful in person! :D I love all the details that went into this card...Thanks so much Carolina!!! :D


And not only did Carolina send me the card, but she also sent me this cupcake box of goodies!!! Carolina must have been reading my mind. I have seen this cute little box at Michaels for some time now, but just have resisted buying it. I was even in Michaels the other day and had it in my basket, but still walked out of the store without it!!! LOL!!! Well now I have it and I am so super happy...it's so cute!!! And Carolina also filled it with some SEI buttons and some Lime Green, Baby Blue & Platinum Stickles!!! Thanks so much for thinking of me Carolina, you're such a gem! :D


And last but certainly not least I got a card and some goodies from Carla! Carla sent me this beautiful box that she made...it's just so gorgeous!!! And look at that awesome card...I just love all the beautiful details and bright colors!!! She also sent me some tags, some cat eyes, pearls and a glue pen and some dew drops!!! How lucky am I?!?! Thanks so much for thinking of me Carla, that was super sweet of you!!!! :D

So tonight I am off to have dinner with some girlfriends as my husband had to leave this morning for a business trip to Kentucky and he'll be gone till Friday morning! Euphoria Happy Birthday!!!

Hey there! It feels like forever since I've posted anything! My sister got after me and said, "Man Jenn you haven't posted anything in a long time!" I thought it was funny so this is for her too! :D I needed to make a birthday card for someone and I tried and tried last night, but my mojo has been on low lately! So after a few failed attempts I decided to just go to bed and try again in the morning. Good thing I did because I really love the outcome of this card! :D

Now I can never really get the true colors of the card to come out, but I used Hydrangea CS as my base and used my new Basic Grey Euphoria paper...I just love this paper!!! :D I used my corner rounder to do the scallops, but let me tell you as soon as I can order the new scallop punch from Stampin Up! I will!!! :D I just love these cupcake stamps from Unity...isn't that cupcake YUMMY?!?!? :D Then I just used some pink satin ribbon to finish it off, not really sure how my bow came out that good, but I'm so glad it did and I did it in one try...yay me!!! LOL!!! :D Well I hope everyone enjoys this beautiful weekend. Oh So Prettie!!!

Well I finally got my Paper Pretties in the mail on Monday!!! I was so excited, I so love this little girl...isn't she just the cutest?!?! I used dp from the new Basic Grey Euphoria paper pack, I just love those papers!!! There are bits of blue in the dp, therefore explaining the blue in my card. I'm gonna be short and sweet tonight, I can barely keep my eyes open while typing this...LOL!!! :D Anyone out there watch Big Brother tonight?!?! I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow! I may have to watch it online Thursday because we are going out with some friends in the evening so we'll see what happens. I hope to have something to share with you tomorrow. This weekend was my class and then I had a baby shower to go to and then we went and stayed over my brothers house on Saturday night. Hey There...

I've got nothing creative for you today...sorry! :( My past few cards were cards that I had done over the weekend, so I really haven't stamped at all this week {gasp!!!} I've been really busy and just feeling really tired lately, but hopefully that is coming to an end. I probably won't have nothing tomorrow as I have to clean my house for my card class Friday and then I have to cut paper, but we'll see I may try and do something small. I tried doing it earlier this week, but like I said I've just been tired.

OK, so on another note...anyone out there watching Big Brother?!?!?! I am so glad there is another season on right now and I am already hooked! I am so glad they voted Brian out as he was just all over the place trying to start alliances with everyone & let me tell ya'...he's no Dr. Will!!!! I {heart} Dr. Will on both seasons he was on...I was rooting for him all the way as he just knew how to play the game!!! I was so glad to see that Jessie won HOH and he'll probably be putting Renny up for a second time, she sorta annoys me so I hope to see her leave next week. Sorry, but I had to go there to see if I there are any other fellow Big Brother fans out there!!! :D Well I guess I should get to cleaning right now or it will be a LONG night! Sipping Coffee with Riley...

Isn't Riley the cutest moose ever?!?! I just love this image of him, relaxing in his big comfy chair and holding a cup of joe and a yummalicious cupcake!!! I would so love for that to be me right now! This is just a quick card I made over the weekend using my sister's Riley stamps!!! I decided that I would use Desert Sand CS for my base again and I am actually lovin' it now! I thought it went well with the colors I chose, Pink Carnation, Breeze, Sunny Yellow and Sweet Leaf. As you can see there's not a lot going on in this card, but simple can be good some times! I just used my Swiss Dots folder and Spots & Dots folder to cuttlebug the Pink Carnation and Breeze strips of CS for some texture. I colored Riley using my copics and layered him on a piece of Sweet Leaf CS and then layered him again on a piece of Sunny Yellow CS that I ran through my CB using my Rectangle Nestabilities. My sentiment comes again from the Cupcake A'La Yummy set. I just adore this font, it's oh so cute!!! :D And there ya' have it folks, just one simple yummalicious card! ;D Hope you have a rockin' Wednesday!!! :D

Bella Sketch Challenge #36...

Hey there! I finally had a chance to complete the Bella Sketch Challenge over the weekend. I flipped my sketch on the side and I guess I actually didn't follow the sketch too well since I didn't place my sentiment on the side. But I didn't have any room for it so I just stamped it on my image...hope that's OK! :D I just love this Funky Clothesline stamp from Stamping Bella, and will you look at that bright colored lingerie, its so funky!!! {LOL!!!}

I stamped my image using Brilliance Graphite Black ink onto White Daisy CS. I colored it with my copics and then matted it onto some Sweet Leaf and Petal Textured CS. I then put it aside to work on my base. I got this new paper from Basic Grey called Euphoria. I wasn't too sure about it when I picked it up, but I do love it now! :D My base is Petal TCS and then I layered a piece of Sweet Leaf TCS and then my dp on top of that! I then used my Circle Scalloped Punch to make my circle image in the corner out of Crystal Blue TCS. After I pop dotted my image on my card I felt like it needed something else, so I added some pink pearls to each corner of my image, I think it adds a nice touch! Sweet Baby...

Happy Monday!!! Here goes another work week, let's just hope the weekend gets here fast! {LOL!!!!} I needed a card for a baby shower that I will be attending on Saturday. When I was at my LSS I saw this cute little giraffe by Imaginisce for $1. I mean I couldn't pass that deal up, right?!?!?

So I started off by inking her up with Brilliance Graphite Black Ink and stamped her on some White Daisy CS and colored her with my copics. I then layered her on some Baby Pink CS and then again on some Buttercup CS that I ran through my CB using my Rectangle Nestabilities. I then added a pink prima and White Daisy Bigger brad and put her to the side to work on my base. My base is a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Buttercup CS folded in half. I then cut a 2" piece of White Daisy CS and ran it through my CB using the Swiss Dots folder. Next I cut a slightly larger piece of Baby Pink CS and ran it through the CB using the Bloomin Dots folder and taped both of these to my base. I then added some Pink Satin Ribbon over the middle of these two pieces and pop dotted my image on top! I then worked on my sentiment using two different stamps. I used the Adorable stamp set for "SWEET" and then the Sans Alpha for Baby. I stamped both of these using Baby Pink Ink on White Daisy CS and layered it on a piece of Buttercup CS. I then colored two little white flowers with a copic and added a White Daisy Bitty Brad to each center of the flowers and called it done! :D Thanks for stopping by today!!! :D

Bella Color Challenge #36...

Hey there! Just got back from church and lunch and thought I would post a quick card I did for the Bella Color Challenge this week. Sparkle chose the colors Sweet Leaf, Ocean, Holiday Red and Desert Sand. When I saw the colors I was like, " Desert Sand"?!?! I don't think I have ever used that color before, but I think I made it work!!! I might have to start using it more often as it is slowly starting to grow on me!!! :D

I used Desert Sand for my base and RS flowers from the Rustic Flowers stamp set also in Desert Sand. I then colored Cakeabella using my Copics & Ocean Ink Pad and Blender Pen. I matted her on a piece of Holiday Red CS and pop dotted her onto my base. I also got to use more of that American Crafts Ribbon I had on on this card as well and the sentiment is from the Cupcake A'La Yummy set from Unity stamps. Well I hope you are enjoying your Sunday! A Trio of Cupcakes

Here there, I'm back!!! So I've been stamping away and here is a card for another one of my favorite challenges, Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #24!!! She always has some fun sketches and this one was no exception, and of course what a great excuse for me to use my new cupcake stamps!!! Wow these cupcakes are so bright, but I love them. This is some of my new paper from my LSS, it is called Frenzy-Mania by We R Memory Makers. I colored my cupcakes with Copic markers and then paper pieced the liners with the same paper from this collection. I also added some red sparkles to the tops of the cupcakes and the ribbon is from American Crafts. I've had this ribbon for a while now and I was so glad that I had the chance to use it for this card. Well back I go to do some more challenges! I'm gonna go work on the Bella challenges for this week, be back later! :D

New Stamps & A SFYTT...

Yay!!! I got my new stamps and I'm doing the happy dance!!! I got home yesterday evening and there they were, waiting for me on my front doorstep. I was so excited that I got my new stamp set from Unity Stamps called "Cupcake A'La Yummy" and yes they are yummy!!!! :D I couldn't wait to just ink them up!!! I got some new paper at my LSS today from Cosmo Cricket called Hello Sunshine. I just love the bold colors in this paper, I am just kicking myself that I didn't get more. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to make another trip! ;D

So I decided to try out Jen del Muro's SFYTT again this Saturday. It seemed like a pretty easy sketch and I knew that I was gonna use my new cupcake stamps & paper! Till I get my new stamps!!! Just kidding!!!! :D I have been desperately waiting on some stamps to arrive and I keep checking the mail to see if they've come and have just ended up disappointed every time!!! So...I'm not making anything new till they show up! LOL!!! :D

Actually I have been working on some birthday invites for a birthday party me and my siblings will be throwing for ourselves in a couple of weeks!!! I can't believe I will be 31 in a few weeks...{ack!!!} :D I think I have said this before but I am a triplet and even though we are older we still LOVE to celebrate our birthday together and always find something FUN to do!!! Do you remember this card I did for one of Marjorie's color challenges?!?!?! We'll this is going to be the invites we send out to a few of our closest friends and family. There will be swimming, outdoor games and food and I just thought these went perfect for the type of party we are having, I can't wait!!! :D I just LOVE birthdays and I love spending them with the ones I love!!! :D

I hope to get back to making cards soon, cross your fingers that all my stamps come today!!! :D LOL!!! Marjorie's Color Challenge #26...

So I decided to tackle Marjorie's Color Challenge last night. Marjorie chose the colors Sweet Leaf, Buttercup & Honey. I was inspired by Stacy to use Chocolate as well and I am so glad I did, so Thanks Stacy!!! :D This card is very simple as you can see and I bet you guys didn't think I owned any other stamps besides Bellas!!! {LOL!!!} I decided to break out the stamp set Friendship Flowers by CTMH that I have had for over year and its never been inked {gasp}! I added some Chocolate Satin Ribbon that my sister gave me and colored some Dew Drops with my copics for some embellishment. I also added some liquid glass to the center of my flower. It looks kind of fuzzy because it's not done drying and I was too impatient to wait to take a picture. Thanks for stopping by today, hope you have a great day!!! :D

Billboardabella...

Hey there, Happy Wednesday! Well, maybe I shouldn't say happy at least for me. I will be making a trip to the dentist office this morning. I have to get two fillings done and I am not all that thrilled. I just can't stand to hear all that drilling, I absolutely hate it! I'm sure some of you can sympathize! :D The only good thing about this is I got to sleep in a bit. {LOL}!!! :D

So this post will be short and sweet as I need to finish getting ready! I used my new Billboardabella stamp that I got from my Bella Sistah Kim. This one is quickly becoming one of my favorites, and I just love all the little sentiments that she comes with...too cute!!! :D Now you all know how I just love bright colors and this card is no exception. I chose the colors Hydrangea, Holiday Red, Breeze & Orange. When I pulled these colors out to work with, my sister was here and she said, "Man those colors are Bright!" Bella Color Challenge #35...

So here it is, early early Tuesday morning and I can't sleep! My hubby and I were still so tired from the weekend, not to mention that I thought I was getting a migraine that we decided to go to bed early like at 7pm. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE!!! :D Now I'm up and can't sleep!!! I've still got a little headache hanging around and I've been tossing and turning for the last hour so here I am posting my card for today a little early. Hope you don't mind!!! :D

So for this Bella Color Challenge Sparkle chose the colors Chocolate, Heavenly Blue & Orange. I so loved these colors the moment I read them and thought they would go perfect with my Beerafella stamp for a great guy card!!! :D I did a very simple LO only using CS. Chocolate is my base and I layered a piece of Heavenly Blue on top and pierced both sides. I then layered a piece of Orange CS on top and added 4 White Daisy Bigger brads and stamped Happy Birthday down below. Next I colored my image using my CTMH markers and my blender pen and Heavenly Blue ink. I added some liquid glass to the ice chest for some shine {love it}!!! :D After I waited for it to dry I pop dotted Beerafella onto my base and called it done. Not sure who'll I'll give this card to, but there are three birthdays in September in my family (all men), my dad's, my husband and my BIL, so one of them will be the lucky recipient {LOL}!!! :D

Well I'm off to try and get some sleep! This will probably just make me more tired and I still will have a hard time getting up this morning at my regular time. Oh, we had such a bad idea {LOL}!!! :D Take care and thanks for stopping by!!! :D

Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #23...

Wow, what a weekend!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend!!! :D It was so hard for me to wake up early. It will probably take a few cups of coffee to get me going this morning...LOL!!! :D Since this weekend was such a long weekend I was able to participate in a few sketch challenges and I am so glad I did!!! This card is for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge and I am so lovin' the way it came out! :D Of course I used my favorite dp and colors Ocean, Watermelon & Hydrangea. The sketch came along pretty easy and this card took me no time to complete!!!! I used Cakeabella for my main image and used Happy Birthday for the sentiment, oh so simple and cute!!! :D Thanks for stopping by today!!! :D

SFYTT Challenge...

So I decided to try Jen del Muro's SFYTT challenge this weekend!!! Did you see who the guest designer is, none other than Jessica Rone. You should check out both of these terrific designers blogs, they have enough eye candy that you'll be drooling all over it. {LOL}!!!!

So on to my card! I had to flip my sketch for my image to fit, but I am really loving this card. I thought I was slick and picked this new color combo that I had never tried before. I had my Breeze, Cranberry & Buttercup ink pads stacked on one another and said, "That's a pretty combo, let's use it"! Well as I started coloring my image I realized where I had seen this color combo before. It's the colors from the Let's Get Together paper from CTMH. Oh well, maybe next time I can be original {LOL}!!! :D Well I used Cranberry CS for my base and ran it through my cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder {imagine that!}. I colored Yogabella using my Copic Markers & CTMH Ink & Blender Pen. I then matted her onto some Buttercup CS and then Breeze CS and put her aside. Next it was time to work on those little squares. I used some Buttercup dp from the Let's Get Together Level 2 paper pack. I matted them onto Breeze CS and taped them to my base. Now I wanted to use some flowers and the halfback pearls just seems so perfect for them. I used one large pearl for the center and then added the small ones around the large one. It was a little tedious but I am so glad I took the time to do it, I so love the outcome! :D I added my sentiment and some White Organdy Ribbon and it was done!

This weekend has been so long and I have no idea how I will get up for work tomorrow. :( We have been staying up late and sleeping in, it has totally ruined our schedule!!! Hey Cupcake...

Hey there! I hope you're having a great holiday weekend so far. Yesterday my husband and I did a little relaxing in the morning and then got up and went to the mall for some sales. Of course I had to run into Bath & Body Works, I mean everything was on sale!!! :D So I stocked up on some shower gel, lotion, & body spray in Japanese Cherry Blossom, my new favorite scent!!! :D I also love Irresistible Apple but stocked up on that when I was there last. I always used to use Country Apple but I love this new apple scent...yummy! :D Then we went over to my brothers house, ate burgers and hotdogs, played some games and watched some fireworks!!! All in all it was a great day because I got to spend it with my family!!! :D


Ok, so your probably saying "Let's get to the card"!!! I just love this cupcake stamp by MFT. I used Cupcake dp from Basic Grey and drew my colors from there. I used Dutch Blue, Olive, Buttercup and Blush. I didn't think this color combo would work, but I {love} it!!!! :D I colored my cupcakes using my Copics and CTMH markers and I stamped some Cranberry sprinkles on top. Don't they look good enough to eat?!?! I also used my Copic Spica Glitter pen to add some sparkle to my cupcake liners and added a red sparkle on top of the cupcakes...just yummy!!! :D I layered my image onto a piece of Blush CS that I ran through my Cuttlebug using my rectangle Nestabilities and added a silver brad to each corner. I then pop dotted it onto my base and layered my sentiment on top, which I just love!!! :D I added some pink satin ribbon to the top and called it done. Lovin' Riley...

So do you remember the post where Stacy sent me the cutest Riley's?!?!?! Well last night I had the chance to play with them and I love them!!! :D I colored them in before I went to work yesterday and when I came home after a much needed nap I was ready to work on them.

This first card uses Tennis Riley Moose. Now this card was totally inspired by Cindy Haffner's card that I saw on SCS where she was featuring one of the new MFT sets. I just fell in love with the color combo and how she used two different Cuttlebug folders for her background. Cindy does fabulous work and I am always drooling over her creations on SCS. So my colors are Moonstruck, Orange & White Daisy. I used the Swiss Dots & Spots & Dots folders for my background and tied some orange polka dot ribbon in the center. I colored Riley using my Copics and CTMH Markers, and for the tennis ball I used CTMH Kiwi ink and my blender pen. I layered him each on a piece of Moonstruck CS & Orange CS and pop dotted him onto my base. Now I made a mistake because I wanted to give his racket a little shine so I added some Liquid Glass to it, but it kinda made the middle run together. Oh well, I still like it!!! :D For my sentiment I stamped it in Brilliance Graphite Black ink onto White Daisy CS, layered it onto a piece of Orange CS and added some jeweled brads and called it done. Aren't these colors great?!?! Nothing I would ever think to put together, but I think they go well!!! :D

Now here's second card I have to show you, using Carrying Tree Riley. I just love it for a Christmas card and I love that cute scarf he's wearing!!! :D I had some paper that I got from my LSS awhile ago that was the perfect Christmas paper for this card. Now I made the LO of the two cards the same, I tend to do that quite a bit. The colors I chose were Holiday Red & White Daisy. I think the dp color resembles Clover Meadow to me, so that's what we'll call it!!! :D

Thank You...

Well Thursday is finally here, YEAH!!!! I know once I get to work I'll be rushing to get out!!! {LOL!!!} It's gonna be a slow day, always is when it's a holiday weekend. The phone will hardly ring and mostly everyone in the office has already taken off for vacation or will leave early which like I said always makes for a long day! Hopefully I can jet out a couple hours early, we'll see!!!! :D I'll probably have to work some MAGIC!!!

I normally do not use black on my cards, don't really know why, just never do. Anywho, I found this cute polka dot ribbon at HL and just had to use it. My paper is new too, I found it at my LSS and just fell in love with it. I think I just like anything with polka dots (hehehe!) And of course I had to use my favorite bella stamp Eloise Greengrass, you guys getting tired of her yet?!?!?! I hope not, cause I absolutely adore her!!! :D I stamped her in Brilliance Graphite Black ink and colored her in with my copics and CTMH inks and blender pen. I know this card has all shades of purple running through it but I honestly don't think it looks all that bad!!! I added some crystal stickles to her wings to give her some sparkle.
